I'm curious if...

You feel like the parent/ therapist/ coach / caregiver in your relationship.

Your partner is diagnosed with ADHD or you think he/she might have it, but you don't really understand the diagnosis.

You feel disconnected from your partner, even perhaps on different pages.

You find yourself unhappy, lonely or even lost.

You experience the continual burden of the mental load and are sick of being the main one to do something about it.

You feel duped or tricked in your relationship as this is not what you thought your relationship would become.

You wish your partner would get help.

You hate to admit it, but you feel resentment, bitterness or anger at your partner.

You question if your partner is lazy or if you are just too critical.

What if you had a place to vent, process, and learn some tips to help you in your relationship with your partner + be able to better understand ADHD?

Introducing... The ADHD Partner Support Group

Welcome to our ADHD Partner Therapy Group, where we'll guide you in transforming your relationship from a puzzle with missing pieces into a masterpiece of understanding.

Imagine this: currently, you may feel like you're trying to assemble a jigsaw puzzle without a picture to follow, attempting to decipher your partner's ADHD quirks. Well, we're here to hand you the complete puzzle, so you can appreciate their symptoms as unique pieces that contribute to the beautiful mosaic of your relationship.

But there's more in store. We're going to empower you to declare, 'No more excuses!' It's time to become your advocate and ensure that ADHD isn't a perpetual escape route.

Had enough of playing the parent role when you envisioned a partnership? We're with you on that. Say goodbye to those caregiving roles and hello to the passionate partners you were meant to be.

As for that lost love? It's still there, perhaps buried beneath the clutter of to-do lists, medication routines, and occasional lapses in memory. We're going to help you uncover it, polish it up, and reignite the spark that initially brought you two together.

But there's an added twist to the plot. In our group, we'll also guide you in creating new systems to tackle the challenges of ADHD. We're here to equip you with a toolbox filled with fresh tricks and tools to manage executive functioning challenges that might be negatively impacting your relationship.

So, if you're ready to embark on this journey, come join us. Laughter, learning, and love are all on the agenda. Because let's face it, relationships with ADHD can be an adventurous ride, and we're here to make it a whole lot more exciting while providing you with the practical skills you need to flourish.

Hi, I’m Lindsey!

I'm a therapist who works a lot with couples and individuals to build healthy and supportive relationships both with client's partners and themselves.

In the last couple of months, I have seen an increase in clients experiencing challenges with their partners who have ADHD. Additionally, my husband was recently diagnosed with ADHD and to be honest I experienced shared challenges, frustrations, and confusion.

I started this group out of a desire to learn and support both myself and my clients.

I sought consultation from ADHD specialists and asked for resources. I was recommended the book "Is it You, Me or Adult ADD?". This is an  an incredible resource that speaks truly to the partner's experience and this will be used as a guide for the group.

I want this group to be a safe place for partners to talk about whatever they need to vent or process about. We all have struggles, we all need support and we all need to learn - so I ask you come with a compassionate and curious mindset!

I am excited to begin, learn, and support and be supported by each of you!
